Refund policy

Free trial

Every subscription starts with a 3-day free trial. If you cancel before the trial ends you are charged nothing at all. We email you the day before it ends so it is never a surprise.

7-day refund

If you are charged and change your mind, email us within 7 days of that charge and we refund it in full. You do not need to give a reason and we will not ask you to justify it.

How to request one

Email hello@studyblackout.com from the address on your account. Refunds are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record, and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from your account page. Cancelling stops future charges and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Beyond 7 days

Outside the 7-day window we do not refund part-used periods, but you can cancel immediately so you are not charged again. If something has genuinely gone wrong on our side, email us anyway — we would rather sort it out than argue about a policy.
